Favorite Subject:
"For so many years mathematics has had such a negative image, but I love it!   It is so exciting to explore the world through mathematical eyes with young children.   My favorite part of this subject is sharing all the different strategies that lead you to the same answer when solving a problem."

Why I am a teacher:
"When working with five-year-olds each day you feel your eyes are being continually re-opened to the world.  There is such a sense of awe and wonder that sadly seems to be lost as we get older."

What I like about teaching at St. John:
"To be able to be an individual within a strong community is a very special gift which St. John offers.  It is a wonderful experience to be supported and feel everyone is striving for excellence."
