SCHOLA
A liturgical choir, SCHOLA, is directed by Mrs. Pat Tsagalakis. SCHOLA provides music leadership for all of the school liturgies throughout the year, with occasional Sunday liturgies scheduled. Students in grades seven and eight are encouraged to audition for this choir. Auditions are in early September.
CANTIONIS
Directed by Miss Ellen Pepin, the CANTIONIS Choir is an extracurricular activity for students in grades 3 through 6. Miss Pepin is a graduate of Holy Names Academy and recently completed an internship in the prestigious Kamiak High School music department. Miss Pepin is currently a graduate student in Choral Studies at the University of Washington as well as the choir director for young children at St. James Cathedral.
The CANTIONIS Choir offers interested students an opportunity for musical accomplishent in a fun and enriching environment. Practices are twice a week before school. The choir sings at occasional Sunday liturgies, school assemblies, and parish and community events.
