Thursday November 17 is Grandparents’ & Friends’ Day.
Please remember there is no hot lunch. Please send a lunch for both guest and student. It is a dress uniform day. Grades 2 through 5 are participating.
Once again we expect a very full house. To help the event go smoothly, please follow the guidelines below:
All students without a guest will eat lunch in Egan Hall with their classmates. Grades K, 1, 2, 6, 7, & 8 will eat in their classrooms. Second grade has brunch with their guests, but lunch in their classrooms.
- Baked items should be delivered to the school office, XDC, or dropped off in Egan Hall that morning.
- All volunteers should have received an e-mail reminder. Please contact Michele Thornquist@ mthornquist@stjohnsea.org if you have not received information about your volunteer position.
The schedule is as follows:
- 9:30 to 10:10 Grade 2 brunch. Guests meet students in their classrooms and escort them to Egan Hall. Brunch treats, coffee, tea, and water provided.
- 10:50 to 11:30 Grades 3 & 4 lunch. Guests meet students in their classrooms and escort them to Egan Hall. Lunch is provided by the student. Dessert, coffee, tea, and water provided by St. John.
- 12:10 to 12:50 Grade 5 lunch. Guests meet students in their classrooms and escort them to Egan Hall for lunch. Lunch is provided by the student. Dessert, coffee, tea, and water provided by St. John.
We will be entertaining well over 400 people---your cooperation and understanding is necessary and much appreciated. Thank you for your support of this wonderful event!
