Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year.  This is my fourth year teaching at St John and I feel bless to be part of the school and community.

My goal is to expose your children to our program using the Natural Approach and Total Physical Response (TPR) methods.

The TPR method involves a physical response to a command or direction to help children learn vocabulary and concepts. The physical response and fun activities help them retain what they learn in their long-term memory.

I use Spanish activities that promote language acquisition. Students become meaningfully involved in using Spanish in an atmosphere that is fun.

Schedule

K- 2nd grade received 30 minutes of Spanish a week on Tuesdays.

3-5 grade received a total of 60 minutes a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
